Behind The Word "JaGa"
You may be familiar with JaGaApp, a platform we've designed in hopes to empower communities to grab the better life; where we believe a better life can be attained only with better security, better communication and a more convenient lifestyle.
Underpinning all our products however, is the word "JaGa".
In Bahasa Malaysia, JaGa means to care and protect. In many scenarios, it also refers to help, or to support. Example: kita jaga kita — let's care, protect, help, and support each other.
The spirit, or attitude that powers such behaviours is what we believe is the JaGaSpirit, which is the foundation underpinning positive, desirable communities.

The "JaGa" Spirit — Beyond Care and Protect
We often hear stories of people going out of their way to help others in times of need, whether it is through offering assistance to a stranger in need or supporting friends and family members. That's what we aspire to embody too!
At JaGaSolution, the culture code of "JaGaSpirit" is at the heart of everything we do. This culture is reflected in the way we treat our JaGaCrew, customers, and community, with a strong emphasis on caring for one another.
Whether it is our client rollouts or internal meetings, we encourage our JaGaCrew to go above and beyond to help others and work together to find solutions to problems.
JaGaSpirit Symbolic Animal
Aside from the obvious word play ("Gajah" is Malay for elephant, so… JaGajah?), their behaviour is largely consistent with the JaGaSpirit:
- Elephants live and work together in herds
- Elephants share deep family bonds
- Elephants are highly sensitive and caring animals
- Elephants depend on each other for protection and support within their herd
And just like elephants, we want our users to come together for support, work together, and make sure that everyone is taken care of in their respective communities!
Introducing JaGaTotem
As part of our efforts to further drive the JaGaSpirit to our team, we've designed personalized elephant totems for each of our JaGaCrew. Each design represents their individual persona, but the general design of the JaGaTotem has its own design philosophy.
The Design Philosophy
3 houses shape that represent the 3 important stakeholders of JaGaSolution; Resident/User, Management and Security Guard
The totem comprises components of different sizes to represent our appreciation for the differences & uniqueness in every neighbourhood in JaGaSolution.
The “J” component depicted from the JaGaSolution products logo represent the totem trunk.
The small-shaped ear is a characteristic of the Asian elephant, indicating the company's origins (we're from South East Asia!)
